Lecture Details: |
The largest part of Parshas Ki Savo is the tochacha, containing blessings and curses that are part of our covenant with Hashem. This bris (covenant) extends beyond the original bris of Har Sinai, as we accept mutual responsibility for one another before we enter Eretz Yisroel. When we recognize that everything we have comes from Hashem, not through other people or circumstances, we join together to serve Him as one whole. On Rosh Hashana, we daven that we will all be able to come together and serve Hashem, with the fusion of mutual responsibility. |
