Women's Shiur - Setting Goals for Elul
Speaker:   Hauer, Rabbi Moshe
Series: Elul & Teshuvah
Lecture Details:  As Elul begins, we focus on moving from the 'passenger's seat to the driver's seat' by getting more involved with our own growth rather than just going with the flow. We learn valuable lessons relating to this idea from the historical significance of Elul. Moshe Rabbeinu ascended to receive the final set of luchos on Rosh Chodesh Elul, taking a more active role by forming the luchos rather than the passivity associated with the first set. Elul and Tishrei are historically significant times for our own involvement, with many lessons of repentance and forgiveness that can be learned from taking an active role.
