Convention 2007
After we are successful at turning on people to Torah learning, what do we teach? If we only have an hour or two each week, which texts do we use? What topics do we teach? Should we just concentrate on one text, one area of learning? What topics can we teach that are both interesting for the beginner and yet give a solid foundation of Jewish knowledge? Should there be a specific order in what these students learn? This new curriculum is comprised 112 lessons and topics that are presented in a weekly independent format that covers the entire gamut of basic Jewish knowledge. This curriculum not only gives any participant a solid foundation in all areas of Yiddishkeit, but also follows a thought out, step-by-step approach to learning Judaism.
