8 - Mikeitz and Chanukah - The Sixth Sense of Emunah
Speaker:   Hauer, Rabbi Moshe
Series: Women's Institute of Torah Parsha Shiur, 5772
Lecture Details:  Yosef had very strong emunah (faith) in Hashem throughout his difficult life. He is punished for asking the butler to mention his name to Pharaoh, although that would seem like normal effort. However, Yosef is a level above that, and has the ability to see Hashem with a "sixth sense", although it is difficult to understand how things are good based on the facts in this world. We need to develop this sixth sense, appreciating what our physical senses cannot, in order to have proper faith in Hashem in this world.
