In his ode “The Woman of Valor,” (Proverbs, Chapter 31), King Solomon expounds the virtuous and industrious ways of the righteous woman, creating a model of Jewish femininity for generations past and present. This course will focus on the various matriarchs who personified the Eishes Chayil throughout Jewish history, explore the character traits associated with Jewish womanhood, and teach us how to tap into the Eishet Chayil that exists within each and every one of us today.
This first class focuses on defining what a Woman of Valor is.
