Chapter 78 in Tehillim is the second longest chapter in the sefer. This chapter is addressed to the Jews at the time of Dovid and Shlomo. We see the Psalmist exorting the Jews to take advantage of the situation that they have. However, this chapter does not merely contain encouragement and warning to keep the Torah. The Psalmist reviews Jewish History until his time and shows how G-d was good to us and how we should have taken advantage of the opportunities we had. |
